Household Hazardous Items - Schedule - Locations

Powhatan Point Curbside Recycling

Curbside recycling will be held every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month

Recycling containers must be in place by 8:00 am and should be placed where you normally leave your trash container for pick-up

Accepted items

• Glass jars (all colors – please remove lids)
• Plastic bottles #1 and #2 (look on the bottom of the container for the #)
• Steel, tin and aluminum cans
• Corrugated cardboard, newspaper and paper (examples: envelopes, brochures, catalogs, folders, magazines, telephone books, advertisements)

Tips

• Please remember: use only the recycling container issued to you by the Village
• Place the jars, bottles and cans together in the recycling container
• Please bundle your newspaper, cardboard and paper with string or place in a paper bag
• It is not necessary to remove labels from bottles and cans
